7 May 2011: Results and tips!

David Ferrer vs Sergiy Stakhovsky (Tennis) - Ferrer to win
Ferrer did exactly what i expected of him. He continued his fine form and won in two sets. 6-3, 7-6.

Rafael Nadal vs Juan Martin Del Potro (Tennis) - Nadal to win

Rafa left the court as soon as he arrived. Del Potro conceded the match due to a hip injury, giving Nadal an easy path to the next round of the tournament.

5 May 2011: Update

Manchester City vs West Ham (Football) - Man. City to win
We've started off well, this result went exactly as expected. Manchester City won 2-1, after taking an early lead and never looking back.

Liverpool vs Newcastle (Football) - Liverpool to win
Liverpool showed everyone why they believe that they are better off without Torres. They looked very dangerous in the final third, finishing the match with a comfortable win, 3-0.

WINNERS: 2/2

Tomorrow we have some good matches to look forward to:

David Ferrer vs Sergiy Stakhovsky (Tennis) - Ferrer to win
I am pretty certain that Ferrer will not disappoint tomorrow. It is on his favorite surface, clay, and also taking place in his home country. So it is safe to say that his good form will not be declining yet. He should finish this easily in 2 sets.

Rafael Nadal vs Juan Martin Del Potro (Tennis) - Nadal to win
Again, it is on his favorite surface and taking place in his home country. So i don't think we need to get to the point that he is also the number 1 tennis player in the world, which also speaks for itself. I will be shocked if we see anything other than 2-0 Nadal.

1 May 2011: Tips for Today

It's a new month, and time to make new targets. So this month I'll be aiming for above an 80% win ratio.
Hopefully we can get off to a good start, because we have two football matches today that I'm very confident about:

Manchester City vs West Ham (Football) - Man. City to win

A lot of the pro tipsters are putting their money down on this one. With Manchester City fighting to cement their position in the Champions League next season, they're not going to accept dropping any points today. As for West Ham, they have the second worst away record in the league. I think that speaks for itself.

Liverpool vs Newcastle (Football) - Liverpool to win

Despite starting the season pretty badly, Liverpool have picked themselves up recently, and have actually been performing pretty well at Anfield. With Kuyt, Carroll and Suarez on form, their goal scoring capability fits together very well with their tight home defencive record.

Saturday 30 April 2011

30 April 2011: Review for this week..

WINNERS: 9/12

A few of this weeks results shocked me, especially tonights performance by Real Madrid.

But a 75% Win ratio for this week isn't too bad, especially when i managed to cover most of my losses by in-play betting.

30 April 2011: Worst Real Madrid performance I've ever seen..

I doubt there are many teams that could match the disappointment of Real Madrid's loss to Zaragoza today.
After having everything going for them this match, and a chance to prove the critics wrong, they just didn't turn up.
I am so thankful to the person who invented in-play betting, as it allowed me to cover my losses when i saw what was happening on the pitch.
There is no doubt in my mind that Mourinho will be gone at the end of the season. Even when playing the most attacking formation that has ever existed, with all his star players except Ronaldo, Madrid still looked exposed at the back, and were lucky to get the two goals that they did manage to scrape back.
Terrible result.

30 April 2011: Tonight!

Good morning guys, I just got home from working a night shift, so I'm going to make this quick.
The odds for Real Madrid to beat Zaragoza tonight are great! I'm guessing the bookies have lost confidence in them after losing to Barcelona in the Champions League.
However, Madrid still have an incredible home record this season, with 14 wins, 1 draw, 1 loss.
I can definitely see Kaka, Benzema and Higuain working their socks off tonight to prove why they deserve a place in the second leg against Barca! Odds of 1/3 don't come around very often for fixtures like this!

Real Madrid to Win.

29 April 2011: Yesterday's results.

Teymuraz Gabashvili vs Florian Mayer (Tennis) - Mayer to win
Despite tiring as the game went on, Florian Mayer looked confident against an opponent who he has lost to in the past, and finished the game in consecutive sets, 6-4, 7-6.

Guillermo Garcia-Lopez vs Somdev Devvarman (Tennis) - Garcia-Lopez to win
Devvarman pulled out a shocking win! Despite winning less points, and being broken 6 times, he scraped the win in 3 sets. 7-6, 2-6, 7-6.

Nikolay Davydenko vs Julian Reister (Tennis) - Davydenko to win
This turned out to be a lot closer than i expected. Although Davydenko still came away with the win, regardless of having to play an extra set to cement his position in the next round. 3-6, 7-6, 6-1.

WINNERS: 2/3

Wednesday 27 April 2011

27 April 2011: Today's results, and predictions for tomorrow.

Novak Djokovic vs Adrian Ungur (Tennis) - Djokovic to win.
Djokovic returned from injury strong. His form was definitely not as good as during his last match against Nadal, but considering the circumstances, I think he's done very well to meet the expectation of continuing his winning streak. 6-2, 6-3.

Robin Soderling vs Jeremy Chardy (Tennis) - Soderling to win.
A small amount of trouble appeared at the half way point in this match for Soderling. As he has apparently been nursing an achilles injury, it was a worry when he fell terribly short of winning the second set in this match. But that was all forgotten when he absolutely dominated the deciding set, finishing with ease. 6-1, 6-7(4), 6-1.

Nikolay Davydenko vs Julian Reister (Tennis) - Davydenko to win
The bookies displayed this bet a bit early.. It is actually being played tomorrow, so i will update with the result when it is over.

WINNERS: 2/2

Teymuraz Gabashvili vs Florian Mayer (Tennis) - Mayer to win
Although Gabashvili is a very tough opponent, and Mayer has lost to him in the past, they are both very different players since their last encounter, and Mayer is now 50 places ahead of him in the world rankings. I believe Mayer will win in 2 comfortable sets.

Guillermo Garcia-Lopez vs Somdev Devvarman (Tennis) - Garcia-Lopez to win
This is another match where all the stats are pointing towards Garcia-Lopez to win. Being placed almost 50 places ahead of his opponent in the world rankings, and having beaten him on the same surface just 2 weeks ago, this looks like a pretty simple result to predict. Garcia-Lopez to win.

Nikolay Davydenko vs Julian Reister (Tennis) - Davydenko to win
The bookies displayed this bet a bit early.. It is actually being played tomorrow, so i will update with the result when it is over.

Tuesday 26 April 2011

26 April 2011 results, and some great bets for tomorrow!

Filippo Volandri vs Dusan Lajovic (Tennis) - Volandri to win.
Volandri blitzed through the first set 6-1, showing the youngster Lajovic who's boss. In the second frame, Lajovic was looking like he could take it at one point, after breaking Volandri for the first time. But Filippo broke him straight back and finished him off at 6-4.

Pere Riba vs Pablo Cuevas (Tennis) - Cuevas to win
Riba's lack of practice really showed in this match, and Cuevas finished him in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4.

Alejandro Falla vs Pablo Andujar (Tennis) - Andujar to win
Falla Surprised everybody in this fixture, by taking this match the distance to an unexpected third set, where sadly Andujar retired while tied at 4-4. It's a disappointing way to lose, but a loss is a loss.

WINNERS: 2/3

Looking to tomorrow:

Novak Djokovic vs Adrian Ungur (Tennis) - Djokovic to win.
Despite just returning from injury, and allowing Nadal to dominate the last two clay court competitions without much resistance, I believe Djokovic will return exactly where he left off. Strong. There is no doubt that he has an immense advantage over his opponent. Novak should win in 2 sets easily.

Robin Soderling vs Jeremy Chardy (Tennis) - Soderling to win.
I haven't read a single stat, or heard from a single tipster, anything at all to suggest that Chardy could put up a fight in this match. So I reckon this will be over in 2 very quick sets.

Nikolay Davydenko vs Julian Reister (Tennis) - Davydenko to win
This is the least certain of my three predictions for the day, but it is still a gamble that i am perfectly comfortable to tell you to bet large stakes on! The former world number 3 Davydenko may not be playing the best tennis of his career, but he is still more than 50 places above his opponent in the world rankings, and this should show tomorrow!

Good luck guys!

Yesterday's results and today's tips

First, the results from yesterday's tips:

Blackburn Rovers vs Manchester City (Football) - Man. City to win.
Edin Dzeko scored a fabulous goal to finish this game 1-0 to Manchester City, in what was a great result away from home.

D. Junhui vs S. Bingham (Snooker) - Ding to win
This match was so close it was unbelievable, but in the end, the best player won. Ding finished the game 13-12, showing that he could handle the pressure that had been too much for him in earlier competitions.

Tobias Kamke vs Blaz Kavcic (Tennis) - Kavcic to win
Kavcic showed the opposition that nothing has changed since they last met, one week ago, and repeated the result with a comfortable win, 7-6, 6-1.

WINNERS: 3/3

Now, looking ahead to tomorrow's tips:

Filippo Volandri vs Dusan Lajovic (Tennis) - Volandri to win.
Volandri is almost 200 players ahead of Lajovic in the world rankings, and I believe that he will show exactly why today. Volandri to win.

Pere Riba vs Pablo Cuevas (Tennis) - Cuevas to win
Cuevas is already much stronger than his opponent, but it also helps that in the last two matches, Riba has been dropping out with injuries. Therefore i consider this a certain win for Cuevas.

Alejandro Falla vs Pablo Andujar (Tennis) - Andujar to win
Andujar has been in amazing form this season, especially on clay. I really can't see him losing, after beating many stronger opponents over the last few weeks, I believe that he will be too much for Falla. Andujar to win.
